It’s something we’re told hundreds of times on our internet marketing journey. Take Action. But how many of us really do? Not just any action, but positive action that moves our business forward? Not as often as we think we do, I’ll bet. That last book we read, the last video we saw, were they something we grabbed for free in return for our email address? If they were then chances are they may not be what we need to be looking at in order to improve our income.Remember most free give-aways are either there to give a small piece of possibly useful piece of data or to lead you on to a paid source of information.
If it was something that you actively sought out, something that you know you need to discover, something that you know will move your business forward and something you want to learn, if it something you feel you can believe in, then it will be positive action.
If you believe that cheap safelists, email blasters and marketing directly to marketers through traffic exchanges are what you need to make money then you had better go for it. Hard. It will take a lot of daily action to keep selling through these sales lines. By the way, if you stop with your daily action then chances are so will your income. These methods do not give the buyers any value and due to the inconsistencies and vagaries of these platforms, people will not remember you on a day to day basis. Unless you’ve been clever about what you’re asking when you send out to the safelist or blaster then you cannot guarantee to talk to the same people each time. I know people have made these methods work, but chances are that they are not selling directly from the safelist ad, but using them as a device to get interested people onto an email list. Email list building and marketing is a completely different game though.
With email lists you can build a relationship with the same people day on day, week on week and you can instil their belief in you as a marketer and mentor. Consistency and value are the two ideals that will bring you an income that will be there for you, not only today, but also next week, next month and next year.
So aim your actions at things that will be of long term benefit to your subscribers. Believe in your actions and what you do today will be of long lasting benefits to you as well.
